Distillation

Distillation begins with heat.
You take something mixed and messy.
You raise the temperature.
The pure rises.
The rest stays behind.

What returns is lighter.
Clearer.
Refined.

That is how God works, too.
When life gets hot,
it isn’t punishment.
Sometimes it is purification.

The fire doesn’t create the flaws.
It reveals them.
It separates the pure from the impurities.
So those imperfections can finally be removed.

And in that moment,
we have a choice.

To let the pain define us,
or let it refine us.

Distillation doesn’t destroy.
It transforms.
It leaves behind what was never meant to stay.

Maybe that is what God is doing in you.
Not burning you down,
but burning you clean.

He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.
Malachi 3:3

The fire is not your enemy.
It is the evidence that God still sees something in you worth restoring.
He sees you the way He created you.
Pure, clean, and free!
