Room To Restart
The key to consistency is allowing yourself room to be inconsistent.
I hear people talk about being relentless.
Never giving in.
Never stumbling.
It sounds admirable.
But I’ve watched that mindset collapse more often than it succeeds.
Many people start strong.
High energy.
Clear goals.
Full momentum.
Then resistance shows up.
Fatigue.
Disappointment.
A missed day.
And instead of adjusting, they quit.
The people I’ve watched achieve lasting things shared a different posture.
They gave themselves permission to have a bad day.
They didn’t confuse a stumble with failure.
They didn’t treat progress like a fragile streak that had to stay unbroken.
They got up.
Dusted themselves off.
And started again.
So today, if you’re chasing a goal, know this.
Not every step will be forward.
Not every day will show progress.
Allow yourself to be human.
As long as you keep going, success has a way of shrinking the hard days.
What once felt heavy becomes barely memorable.
One stumble at a time.
Recovered.
