Strength Made Perfect
We chase power as if it were found in upgrades.
Better systems.
Bigger platforms.
Stronger strategies.
But Paul said power shows up where it shouldn’t.
In weakness.
Like a cracked jar holding light.
The more broken, the brighter it shines.
When Paul says, “My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9), he isn’t saying God engineers every difficulty.
Life itself hands us plenty.
Hardship, loss, struggle.
Not because God causes it, but because this world is fractured.
And yet, He works with it.
He steps into the cracks.
What feels like breaking becomes molding.
Weakness doesn’t erase us.
It develops us.
The very place I feel most fragile can become the place He grows me stronger.
And this isn’t just hindsight.
It’s happening right now.
Every moment I feel too small, His grace is big enough.
Every place I feel empty, His power fills the gap.
God doesn’t delight in my pain.
But He delights in showing me His presence there.
Because the place I’m most aware of my limits
is the place God proves He has none.

When we are broken, we need to think about people who repair expensive vases etc. they use gold to fill the cracks making it more valuable.
