Time
Time is the most precious thing we possess.
And even the most disciplined among us waste it.
We guard our money.
We insure our homes.
We track our health.
Some even grab the farthest parking spot to protect their car.
But time slips through our fingers with barely a second thought.
A billionaire would give everything he owns for thirty more years.
Not for more success.
Not for more possessions.
Just more mornings.
Time is worth more than gold because it cannot be replaced, stored, or earned back.
Once it’s spent, it’s gone.
And it’s so easily spent.
So the question that keeps coming back to me is simple and sobering.
What am I doing with the one resource I can never replenish?
Am I spending it building what lasts?
Am I investing it in people?
Or am I trading it away on things that feel urgent but leave nothing behind?
Scripture reminds me to number my days, not to fear them, but to use them wisely.
Time is doing more than passing.
It is carving my legacy.
What I do with it determines whether I’m remembered,
or gradually forgotten.
And one day, I’ll realize I spent it all.
So this is a reminder for me.
Choose what matters.
While I still have time left.
