Progress rarely shows up when life feels perfect.
It comes when everything breaks.
Looking back, the most transformational moves in my life didn’t come in seasons of comfort. They came when I felt stretched, shaken, even undone.
In late 2007, the company I’d been with for years sold, seemingly overnight. I was handed a pink slip, and suddenly my future felt uncertain. I want to say that I knew everything would turn out great, but the truth was, I was scared to death.
But I can draw a straight line from the success I have today to the decisions I made in that uncertain season.
Difficulty doesn’t create character. It uncovers it. That’s when faith gets real. That’s when resilience takes root.
The mystery of progress is that it grows best in the soil of challenge.
Your broken places can become the turning points of your life.
Perhaps the chaos surrounding you isn’t the end of the story. Maybe it’s the start of something you’ll thank God for later.
“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.”
— James 1:2–3 (NLT)

Ecclesiastes. 7. Reminds us that the end of a thing is better than its beginning. How true this often is. Well done b
